The new Actyon has a similar theme to the upcoming Torres SUV in the face, sharing similar light clusters but adopting an LED pattern in the grille, body-colored wheel arches and a more modern-style light bar at the rear. It will be part of a push by SsangYong's new owners to refresh its lineup and better compete with both traditional Korean rivals but also newcomer brands from China.
KG Mobility hasn’t revealed any details for the new Actyon, such as engine options, nor has it shown any interior images. Unsurprisingly, it’s the same drivetrain as the Torres, which consists of just a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine (125kW/280Nm) attached to a six-speed automatic transmission in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

The South Korean manufacturer underwent a rebranding process last year, and the Torres is the first new model to be launched in the UK under the KGM name. The rebranding process has led to a new range strategy, as the Torres was initially launched with a 1.5-litre petrol engine.
